  1. you can get all withheld numbers blocked; contact your phone provider

  2. Yes, on BT - they have two services which you can order (at a cost):

    "Choose to Refuse"

Lets you block incoming calls from up to ten specific numbers - even if the caller witheld their number when they called you.  (You dial a code after you've received a call to block calls from that number.)

    "Anonymous Call Rejection"

Will reject all incoming calls to your phone. Could be useful, but you might miss out on genuine calls from people with their number witheld that way.

    Ring 150 to order.

  3. i'd have thought not but it would be a very good idea.  if you have a phone book, bt has a number for advice on malicious calls.

  4. Yes contact your phone provider who will do it for you but will charge a small fee.

  5. you can use *77...ACR

    *77 Anonymous Call Rejection

    *87 Cancel Anonymous Call Rejection

  6. Not a specific withheld number but all. Calls from a switchboard tend to be withheld numbers so if you barred withheld numbers, you wouldn't be able to phone your own house sometimes.

So it's all or none. Need to get in touch with your line provider.

  7. If your with telewest you can set up for £1.50 (I think a month) they will not put through any withheld numbers, it tells the person they are not being put through because they have withheld their number
