Is there a way you can get something back on Notepad?

Ok so, I wrote a really long thing on Notepad and I forgot to save it. Then my computer restarted on its own, and so I was wondering.. is there a way that I can get it back?

Not on notepad, some programs have a document restore, but if it restarted before you saved it, its gone.  You'll have to re-do it.

Use Open Office Writer its free and it will save it for you I believe every 10 minutes by default.
