Hi I have a prolactinoma and am currently taking Cabergoline. It isnt working quite as fast as I would like and in nine months my prolactin has only fallen from 9000 to 4000 (normal = 400). This seems very slow compared with other patients. i was wondering is there anything I can do to increase the number of effectiveness of the dopamine receptors on the tumour so the agonist works better?

Also i am considering surgery to have it removed, would this alter the dopamine receptors?

  1. Find a DO. My DO prescribed Neuroreplete which increases the number of neuroreceptors in your brain.

Anything natural will take awhile to work though. That's the price you pay for not having side effects.
