Is there a way you could find out who your calling before you dial the number?

..because my friend gave me a friends number and i dialed it but it was the wrong person and i want to dial the number again but i dont want any trouble.

Ask your friend to confirm the correct details & number of the party you wish to contact . Check the party's number with directory enquiries. Failing all that just phone the number again & run your dilemma past the recipient. Did you ever notice and think it strange that wrong numbers are never engaged?
