  1. Not sure about email but these websites will get you an adoptee. Maybe some will be able to include email address for you once you get a soldier you can ask.

Here are some websites that should be able to help you:

Here is the United States Postal Service site and they have restrictions and such.

The U.S. Postal Service introduced a Military Care Kit, or "Mili-kit" for military families and friends to send care packages to their loved ones stationed overseas. Each kit contains two Priority Mail boxes, six Priority Mail Flat Rate boxes, eight Priority Mail labels, one roll of Priority Mail tape and eight customs forms with envelopes.

This kit may be ordered by calling the USPS Expedited Package Supply Center at 1-800-610-8734. There is no charge for the kit. The Priority Mail Flat Rate boxes included in the kit can be shipped to any APO/FPO in the world, regardless of weight, for $8.10.

  2. I think so but don't have time to research it now.

Why don't you google it or call your local VFW or American Legion?

  3. Our troops? do you own them?

  4. Penpal? and what would you write about? How many Iraqi civilians has been tortured and killed. Have the troops set dogs on the prisoners, and  took photos of them naked?

  5. I have adopted a Soldier - it is great -

I have been so happy since I did this, and feel so much joy to write to my penpal and send care packages.

  6. Sound like a great idea, but it would break my heart if anything bad happened to mine.
