Is there a website out there, that offers free printable Barbie (or even Ken) clothing patterns?

I have been searching for the last hour for a website that has a few printable patterns for Barbie and/or Ken clothing. My 5 year is now to the age where she loves her Barbie dolls. However when I was out shopping today, I walked down the Barbie aisle searching for clothing. There were very few options, for clothing, plus, they were about $5 an outfit!

I'm decently handy with a sewing machine, but, would love some ideas. I have only been able to find a pattern for one dress at donnernblitzen.com, but, haven't found anymore.

Does anyone know of a website or even have any patterns that you have saved on your pc that you would be willing to share?

These patterns....are they so small that you have to use a teeny tiny Bernina sewing machine to put then together?

Simplicty has several patterns for 11 1/2 fashion dolls that will fit Barbie.  Each pattern makes several different outfits from formal to casual dresses, and some have Ken sized patterns too.  You can make a complete wardrobe for Barbie with one pattern so they're very cost efficient.

Take a look at Simplicity 4702 (10 different outfits from evening gown to cute dresses to casual jeans and shirts) , 4719 (8 different outfits from wedding gown and veil to casual dresses to shorts and halter), 4754 (wedding dress, formal wear for Ken, and costumes...doctor, nurse, & halloween outfits for both Ken and Barbie), 5785 (7 outfits...evening gown, play clothes, dresses), 7073 (8 outftits from formal down to play clothes).

I have a 6 year old who is now loving Barbie and her clothes. I ran into the same problem that you did. Barbie clothes are expensive. I took a couple of the Barbie outfits that she has and picked a fabric (anything will work, old clothes that don't fit, sample fabrics, etc) and cut the pattern out of the Barbie clothes leaving a little extra room for sewing. It will save you lots of money and you get better control of style of outfits.

When I was younger I LOVED barbie. Don't go to like walmart, go to not famouse shops and ask for doll clothing. I use to buy a big set with around 20 outfits with jewelry and shoes and stuff for around 5 dollars.

i'm not sure but they do have some in books from the library  my lil sister is too small to play with them so i kind of ignore those books. but the more i do the more i see. there are also some in books you wouldn't think they would be in. i have come across many books that have at least one pattern. also check lion brand to see if they have anything or conact them for helpful advice.

I'd strongly suggest using Google to find free patterns.  Type in something like "sewing patterns 11.5" fashion doll free" and see what comes up.  Anything with Barbie's name in it has to be copyrighted (licensed) and is therefore not available free.  If you just look for 11.5" fashion doll patterns, you'll find quite a few.  

Put "free" at the end of your request, or you'll get tons of links to free and pseudo-free items that have nothing to do with what you want.
