I've been feeling terrible for a very long time. A very long time. I'm not sure about what I can do. I won't waste time telling you my problems. Things are quite bad. What I would really like to know is if there are any websites that I can go to for advice. If you can help me at all I would be inexplicably grateful. Thankyou.

  1. I am a member of a wonderful support group called Wing of Madness. The people there are very very supportive, and you can talk about most anything. Everyone there knows exactly how it feels to be battling depression. I invite everyone who reads this to come and check us out.

  2. Hey i don't know exactly what you are having to deal with,  but I am also feeling depressed.  Don't get me wrong I do have good days then then the next I can be sooooo down again.  I have been taking St John's Wort,  and I think it helps a bit.  I have used a site ICAS.  I phoned them a few times and they are good, but the advice always ends up as go to the doctors.  Good Luck to you.  I hope you find someone to talk things through with .  x

  3. Go to Google search and type in Rethink. They are an organisation that deal with depression and mental health, they have helped me immensely in the past.

  4. www.theinternetisseriousbuisness.com

    www.smouch.net/Lol.

    .

    .

    .

    Couldn't Resist that

  5. don't know of any  particular ones but try doing a google search and reading various things...

    Other things that might help:

    writing a journal

    talking to friends/family

talking to a therapist (there is no shame in this, they can be very helpful)

thinking positive-making positive statements to yourself

turn to spirituality if you feel inclined to do so...

OPEN YOUR EYES AND SEE THAT LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL!

  6. I found this website help full:

    www.MoreForDepression.com

  7. well ive suffered from depression for 5 years, and ive only recently started getting treatment for it, coz i didnt know what was wrong with me before, ive attempted suicide so many times, i went to see my gp who prescribed me some anti - depressants, if i were u i would definitely go and see ur gp, and tell him/her whats wrong and exactly how u feel, also u might even find seeing a councellor helpful, trust me u wont find treatment by looking at any website, it will only give u some information on how depression affects people. make a doctors appointment for tomorrow and see the different this time next month.

    takecare hun x

  8. I have written an article titled Depression on my blog and the focus of my blog is on how to use your mind to get positive results in your life. I hope it can help you. I recommend the blood type diet and exercise plan as mental illness and mood are very closely linked to blood type. Of course it sounds strange but it works phenomenally well. If I were you I would try taking a 50 mg dose of 5HTP (a supplement available in health food stores) to raise serotonin levels and add the amino acid L-Glutamine if necessary. Also, I would take a high-potency B-complex from Solgar every morning to help mood. If you keep doing what you've always done , you'll keep getting the same results, so whatever you do, do something different now. That's an NLP idea: NLP could also help you. Try a weekend taster course or ideally train as a practitioner - it could revolutionise your life. Whatever you do, Good luck!

  9. Hello,

Sorry to read about your situation. I cannot really answer your question properly but I do know of something that will make you smile and hopefully find uplifting, and maybe even make you laugh. You did not mention details of your exact situation, so I hope the content of what I am about to recommend is appropriate. Hopefully you have not viewed this yet on YouTube, but take a look at this link. Its of a little laughing baby with an infectous laugh. Its is most entertaining and if it can just lighten up your day if only for a short while then thats better than nothing. Heres the link:-

    Hopefully you will enjoy.

    Take care,

  10. it depends exactly what you want. if your want advice on how to deal with certian problems orif you need to rant or vent out your feeling i would suggest joining vampirefreaks and then joining the cult The-Bathroom-Sink

    http://vampirefreaks.com/cult/The-Bathro...

if however you want advice on what to do now you know you have depresson, rather that go online, i would suggest seeing your gp or primary care doctor. if you wish to seek this sort of advice like this online i would google it and maybe look on wikipedia and find out about different forms of therapy which you could make use of in your everyday life

  11. Google it and see what comes up, i am sure you will find what you are looking for there.

  12. Hi,  I know how bad depression can be as I have lived with it for many years.  I only know that it is nearly impossible to deal with it on your own. There is a website that my GP recommended:

    http://moodgym.anu.edu.au/

It is a great site but you still need to get some help.  The first place you should go is to your GP.  However, if you feel you can't do this, there is another site

    http://www.fightingdepression.co.uk

This site has a self help page with some good tips.

I hope you feel better soon.
