Is there a website that has old radio playlist from the late 80s and early 90s?

I'm interested in seeing some of the artist/songs from "Smooth Jazz"/New Adult Contemporary heritage stations like WNUA, WQCD, WNWV, and KTWV.

  1. "Billboard" goes way back in their archives. Everything you need should be at:

    Al Jarreau's "So Good" is included in the Top-5 from '89. However, you may have to subscribe to get the information you want past the top-5 songs/albums. There is no specific category for smooth jazz, but it is included in the R&B section. All the stations you mention would have played the songs from the Year-End charts at the "Billboard" link.

    You might also try writing the music director of those stations, they might also help you out.

    You can also try the premiere consultants in SJ at Broadcast Architecture. They practically invented the format (which is losing stations at an alarming rate):
