Is there a website that tells us what charities are good and legit to donate too? please share if you know.?

It is really up to you to do your own research and seek out causes that mean something to you. Are you more interested in supporting the arts, human rights, political causes,  the environment, the poor, the sick or handicapped, hungry children? ...the list goes on. Look inside you heart and see what really matter to you, then go from there and do some reasearch. Otherwise, a catch-all would be supporting your local United Way which supports many local legitimate charities.
