Is there a website where I can find ratings or recommendations for riding schools/academies?

I rode for a while a few years ago and got screwed over.. the instructor basically had me walking in a circle for an hour every week for a few months.. I felt like we never moved foward.. anyways how can I find the best possible riding school in my area?

I am not sure where you live but in the U.K., I would recommend " The British Horse Society ". They have a list of registered instructors and riding schools.
