I think most airlines have a stand-by list, but you have to actually go to the airport to be on stand-by. That is because it's usually done at the last minute so they want people who are ready to go like NOW. It involves a lot of waiting around and being flexible with locations, but some people swear by it. As far as websites, I don't think such a thing exists.

You can purchase vouchers that people have received for one reason or another.

Check out your nearest city served by craigslist.org.  Also go to ebay, category "travel", and refine by "airline."
