  1. check your school website they often have copies of letters given out in pdf format and you can just print one off

if not schools generally accept any note from a parent/ guardian providing it contains all of the necessary details

  2. There probably isn't, unless it's a college designated field-trip.

Your best bet would be to ask the teacher for another form.

  3. Not usually.

If you cannot get a parent to come to school with you in the morning to sign a new copy, have them write and sign a note giving you permission to go.

The last field trip my class went on this year (a walking trip to the park) we allowed parent written permission.

  4. Just have your parent write a note that gives you permission to go.  Have him/her include the same basic info that was on the original, and it'll be fine.

  5. haha - youth.

what would we have done before the internet?

Ill bet that the slip was created before the internet and just photocopied since its original inception.

Dont get me started about duplicating machines.

no. Bring your Mom to class so she can sign it in the morning - then pin it to your shirt.

  6. I doubt that it is handled that way, although perhaps there is a private intranet from which teachers can get such things.  If so, no one here could give you access without putting their own jobs at risk.  You need to talk to your teacher.
