  1. Nope

  2. By using http://www.vehiclelicence.gov.uk you can see if a car is taxed/sorn, or when it expired.

http://www.askmid.com will tell you if a car is insured.

The eBay trick that someone else described is a good way to find out how many previous registered keepers a vehicle has had.

  3. ...if you email me[click avatar] direct ill send u a link to show if its still insured and on the road....i wont list it here....

  4. What's a 'rego number'?

  5. Well, not specifically. The only way around that would be to do an HPI check on it and it would say if it had been written off or scrapped! Rac is only £5. Just put in the reg, ignore all the other questions you dont need it to do the check

  6. If in UK then no, as these details are protected under the Data Protection Act....as far as I know anyway.

  7. You could try listing it for sale on Ebay by filling in the VRM & see if they know the make, model, number of keepers etc. It's not 100% accurate, but should show if it's still on the DVLA database.

  8. the only thing i can suggest which may help is www.askmid.com. this site will tell you whether or not the car has insurance on it today. you will need the full reg no. it doesnt give you any details of the owner etc, just that it has insurance on it.

  9. If you're in the UK, go to

    http://www.vehiclelicence.gov.uk/EvlPort...

Click on "vehicle enquiry" and enter the registration number and make of the vehicle.
