Is there a website which leads to you driving people places and they pay you?

Question

Just thinknig that on my days off work I could give someone a lift down souht or wherever. Could arrange a payment from them. Not sure if this is legal, but it would be a canny day out

i thk its illegal if u r to drive somebody for a fee u have to register as a either taxi driver otr private hire driver with ur council n then only u can take a fee.

but if u can find some people willing to go with u without all those legal covers n preotection like car share then i dnt thk its a problem but for that i thk u shud know people whom u r going with w very well.

interesting idea though

lots of people around here put small adds in the local paper-mostly offering driving service to airports(it is legal to do ).maybe you can put your service on craigs list.
