Is there a weight limit on baggage for american airlines

and if there is how much do you have to pay to bring all the baggage?

why don't you surprise yourself and bring your stuff down and a roll of cash.

If it's too heavy (over 50 lbs?) you have to pay a fee (perhaps 20$ I forget)

If you have more than one checked bag on some airlines (northwest, etc) you have to pay 20-25 dollars (I forget if it's per bag, or in general)

carry-on I don't think there is a weight limit, but you can only have 2 and a purse I believe.
