Is there a wireless network adapter better than the one i am using??? 10 points?

I installed atheros usb 2.0 ,, but i am not happy with it , it decreased my signal strength that made my internet speed slower. where can i download a better wirless adapter??

I am using vista. 10 points for the fastest one.

You should get an internal one, they are usually much faster and have thier own antenna's for increased signal. They snap on the back of your computer in one of your PCI slots.

A wireless adapter is HARDWARE you may update the drivers with a download but you can't change the hardware with a download!

If you updated the driver and it got slower, roll back the driver to the previous one as it would seem to be better!

You can get internal wireless adapters or PCMCIA adapters, they are generally much better than USB ones. (Its just that USB is easier to use!) You will have to visit a store or order them online - you just can't download them!
