Is there always only a 50/50 % chance of a boy or girl.?

what im asking is, are some guys more apt to help produce a girl/boy because of there sperm cells or is it just a wild circumstance that some people have all girls/boys in their family. is there always only a 50/50 chance, or are there some guys that can only make girls/boys?

I think that there used to be a 50 50 chance. Recently I have read up on somthing that says the healthier a women eats will increase her chance of having a boy, and read another thing that said more girls are being produced  because of something thats in the water.

Have you noticed all the baby girls being born lately? LOL im almost 34 weeks pregnant with a baby girl.

Typically, yes, it is 50/50.  However, in some men, one male/female sperm is stronger than the other.  Meaning, sometimes the female sperm are stronger swimmers than the male and vice versa.  Also, sometimes the female horomones can reject the sperm (male or female).

Some sperm (can't remember male or female) can't withstand an acidic environment, so if the woman eats certain foods ...... ya know what, I can't remember ..
