Is there ample evidence that Palin used her power as governor to get her ex-brother-in-law fired?

When his boss refused to fire him, she fired him. She first denied Monegan's claims of pressure to fire Wooten and then had to amend her story when evidence proved otherwise. The available evidence now suggests that she

1) tried to have an ex-relative fired from his job for personal reasons, something that was clearly inappropriate, and perhaps illegal, though possibly understandable in human terms,

2) fired a state official for not himself acting inappropriately by firing the relative,

3) lied to the public about what happened and

4) continues to lie about what happened.

So who cares. President Clinton upon taking office fired all Federal Judges and replaced them with all his to help offset any criminal charges while he used the office to his gain. This is exactly why treason with impeachment charges were never brought to court, which of his good ole Federal Judge buddies would convict him. Its all the same, called the game of Politics

The national press is distracted with Gustav right now and it will wait until the honeymoon with Palin is over.

Then, and I'd say sometime either later this week or early next week is most likely, the national press is going to slowly but surely start running with this story and it ain't going to be very pretty for Hot Lips Louise.

Palin has been used to being a the biggest fish in a very tiny pond. But, that changed the second McCain picked her for his VP.

Palin isn't in Alaska anymore. She doesn't run the show down here in the lower 48. The national press will try to eat her alive.

I shall be very interested to see how she deals with what is surely yet to come.

As someone who has had Palin for a governor, she has done many things that are positive. From what you have put, it seems you don't know anything thats been going on in Alaska.

Well there was enough reason to believe it's true to lead Alaskan officials to hire an independent investigator to look into it.

she hasn't lied and it is still under investigation, which she openly admits and welcomes!!  Seems she has nothing to hide!

UNLIKE, Obama, who, when under fire, couldn't make up his mind.  Such is the case with Rev. Wright for example, among other things.

Geez, can't you see it is because of his race that he has gotten this far?  It should be about SKILL and QUALIFICATIONS!  It isn't though.  Some in Congress have admitted to not agreeing with him, but thinking of voting for him due to the history marker it carries.  Even Rev. Jesse Jackson had poor remarks for him on what he thought was off camera, but.............. he apologized because he wants a black man in office, not that he wants the best man in office that can do the job.  If Obama was that, then more power to him!  But he isn't!  He has done NOTHING in ILLINOIS, I live here, I know.

Can you imagine what would happen if a charge like this was made against Obama or Biden. The Republicans would be ready to have them disqualified to run. I think that maybe Palin should have been vetted more before chosen.
