Is there an Age Restriction for Hotels in Calgary Alberta?

My friends and I are planning to go to Calgary but we need a place to stay. I know in some states there is an age requirement. But im wondering if there is a requirement in Calgary?

My Friends and I are all 16, and we can bring someone 18 with us but we dont feel like it.

  1. Just ask the hotel when you are calling and interested in as many have age restrictions for 18 while others are 21. Not going to cost you anything to ask them.


  2. According to most the hotel websites I've looked at, the legal age is 19.

  3. Usually you're going to need someone with a credit card and someone whose 18 there to book a room.

    Some buddies a long time ago, go their parents to buy the room, but then they left, so you can have the room to yourself, you just have to leave the hotel managment under the impression you have someone over 18 staying there.

    And the legal age of Alberta is 18, not 19.
