  1. Brilliant question !!! Does anyone know if the Ottomans protected it and they both felll at the end of WWI?

  2. Well, there used to be, but not anymore...I used to babysit an 11year old Armenian boy who would "recited his royal ancestry" to me..but I don't think I believe him...

  3. no, but maybe it would be better if America did have a royal family. They seem to like the british one...and Canada already have them.

  4. No...unless you consider the Kennedy's.  Not royal, but close.  You need a king or queen to be royal.  Hence England's Queen.

  5. Maybe, but I know for sure that all countries in the world had royal families.

  6. ARMENIA, not America, people!!!!!

  7. The Bagratuni or Bagratid royal dynasty of Armenia  is a royal family whose branches formerly ruled many regional polities, including the Armenian lands of Syunik, Lori, Vaspurakan, Vanand, Taron, and Tayk.

The Kingdom of Armenia was formed in 190BC and was abolished on May 28th, 1918 when the Democratic Republic of Armenia was formed.

But in answering your question; there is no current Armenian Royal Family, they have a President and Priminister, Robert Kocharyan and Serzh Sargsyan respectively.
