  1. Knowledge of government, politics, international relations and law will be an advantage to get a job in the embassy of India in Taiwan.

  2. Technically there is no Indian Embassy in Taiwan because of the the One-Chine Doctrine that most countries observe.   Taiwan (Official Name: Republic of China) and Mainland China (Official Name: People's Republic of China) claim to be the one and only China.  To appease mainland China, most countries only recognize mainland China and establish their Embassies in the mainland.  However, to maintain relations w/Taiwan, most countries open a "Cultural" office in Taiwan which serves as a de facto embassy there.

Now back to your question re working in the Indian Embassy in Taiwan.....Assuming you are Indian residing in Taiwan, you will have a slight advantage as each country would obviously prefer to hire their own citizens in positions such as language interpreters, lawyers, social workers, administrative help, etc.  Most likely, they will not hire you as a consuls as you would need to take the civil and foreign service exams and training back in India before being assigned a foreign post.
