Have a 4-prong electrical plug, and is there an adapter to make it fit a 3-prong 200 outlet in the wall? I know the dryer plug can be changed, but is it safe for my 1 yr old Maytag dryer to use a 3-prong instead of a 4. If I do not have to change the plug, would prefer to use some kind of adapter between the dryer and the 220 outlet.
