  1. Why not go for a USB keyboard straight away? Or get a W/L kbd..

(i'm guessing your ps2 port for the kbd is damaged)

  2. yeah, I have one of those connectors, And it is a two way thing, so I can plug a USB keyboard into the ps/2 slot, or plug a ps/2 keyboard into a USB slot. They are available at Best Buy, Circuit City, and at any electronics store, Might even find some at Walmart.

  3. yes round pins to USB adapters are available.

if in uk  currys /pc world or any PC repair shop will have them.

    hope this helps.

  4. hi james

yes, infact some wired and wireless mice come with them to allow you to connect via usb instead of ps2

however you can readily purchase them from most online pc retailers ,for example you can get a "2 x PS2 to 1 x USB Cable" from http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Periphera...

this is a excellent way of connecting both your keyboard and mouse to a single usb port, this is ideal for older laptops and desktops that dont have as many usb ports as modern systems

note: some p.c,s and laptops have specific bios settings for usb keyboard and mouse support, you will find these settings in "intergrated peripherals" in the system setup program or bios

                any problems let me know

                          good luck james !
