I agree with Jim S. There is no age limit for sailing. As long as you are coherant and strong enough to perform the required activities you should be fine. However, I recommend going out with another person and wearing a Man Overboard beacon that automatically turns on when it hits the water.

International Sailing Federation would be the place to go for that answer if racing. If not I think kids under 3 should be attached to someone at all times. Sailing is the best sport I've competed in. But I know of no other sport where so much money is spent to go so slow.

nope well 2 yr olds might be to young and old im 69 so pick a age and just do it nothing closer to God than sailing
