Is there an age requirement for working in the kitchen at McDonalds? (In California)?

I think I remember getting a work permit at age 15-1/2.  I went to work at Burger King around the same time.  California has limits to the number of hours and time of day that minors can work.  The manager will know.

Not sure, but ask yourself: do you actually want to. You'll end up monstrously spotty! Ahh!

Find a job waiting on in a restaurant (not washing up - it's a nightmare) or if you're too young get a job in a shop. A pet shop would be fun, or a clothes shop where you could get discounts!! Score :P
