Is there an age you have to be to enter Cuba without a parent?

I'm 18 and have been told (by an unsure source) that I need a parent present with me to cross the border being under the age of 19.

  1. No you're 18 and of legal age...you can travel without a parent.

    But if you are UNDER 18, it is recommended to have a travel consent letter from your parents.

    "For any destination, it is strongly recommended that children under the age of 18 carry a consent letter signed by both parents or their legal guardian for each and every trip abroad if they travel with only one parent, unaccompanied, or with other acquaintances."


  2. you have to be 18, if you're less than 18 you need a letter signed by a lawer saying your parents aprove.

  3. Are you an American citizen? Are you aware that Americans cannot legally tavel to Cuba without a license?  See site below toread about this.

  4. In Cuba if you are 16 you can go into a bar and have a drink.  Being 18 you can fly to the island by yourself.
