  1. "AN" agency? No, I don't believe so. I believe there are multiple agencies that do though. For example, every AOL member's activity is logged in a snapshot fashion if specific values are met (i.e. keywords or such that make AOL think them worthy of watching) and it is all monitored. Read your terms of service with them carefully, or just drop it in a linux enviro and examine the base code for the program.

Many microsoft programs watch and log your activities online as well. Most of it is in an accepted fashion and the log never leaves your comp, but some programs transmit your cookies or other activity logs.

As for outside sources watching the data streams? I doubt it- but I am sure all of it is screened by programs designed to look for hot topic keywords.

  2. I think not - yet - in spite of the Patriot Act which is unconstitutional.

  3. Well, shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

    yahoo moderators!!!!!

  4. Now this is a good question that i can answer, sorry to break your heart but there is an agency that is tracking what you are doing. But it is not like you think that it is, the government is simply checking your e-mail when you send it to someone, but that is done for saftey procuations.
