The closest is London City Airport if you are going to Camden Town however if your coming from aboard which is far like the US etc then the closest would be Heathrow.

London Heathrow to Camden Town is about 19.5 miles and takes about 37 minutes by car.

It depends where you're flying from.  A limited number of flights land at London City airport - it's a very small airport.  The biggest one is London Heathrow but it's very simple to get to Camden from there.  Take the Heathrow express train (takes 15 minutes every 15 minutes) and then you arrive in Paddington.  It's not far on the london underground to Camden from there.

London City Airport is a very small airport oriented at business travellers. Most flights are domestic or are going to northern Europe. All planes are short take off and landing planes, not full size jets.

    London has trains from all five of it's major airports, Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton, Stansted, and London City. You can get to Camden Town by low cost transportation from any one of the airports.

    Luton, for instance has shuttle bus service to First Capital Connect Trains. They have a train called ThamesLink which will take you right to St. Pancras (where the Eurostar trains go to Paris and Brusells). Camden Town is about a mile from St. Pancras.
