  5. No. I live in a country where condensed milk comes in tubes, not cans I have stopped buying it. Why? Because I developed the habit of sucking it straight out of the tube. Now isn't that disgusting?

There is a difference between evaporated and condensed milk.

  6. Hello,

To make a substitute for sweetened condensed milk use 3/4 cup white sugar mixed with 1/2 cup water and 1 1/8 cups dry powdered milk: Bring to a boil and cook, stirring frequently, until thickened, about 20 minutes.

It depends on the reason why this kind of milk is not good for _your_ health.

    1. If you are insulin resistant it can contain too much refined carbohydrates. See the links under the answer to learn more

    about it.

    2. If you are lactose intolerant your better choice can be non-lactic varieties.

    3. Same is true if you should avoid saturated (bad) fats, then you might want to switch to soy-based creamers.
