Is there an alternative for contact lens solution?

something that can be used for one night as an alternative as solution has been forgotten on an overnight stay

I have rigid gas permeable lenses. The few times that

I didn't have overnight solution, I just used water instead. When that happens, I just use cleaner in the morning before inserting them in my eyes.

Usually, I use cleaner in the evening before putting them in the solution.

i've worn contact lens for years  and had the same problem. i changed to daily disposables and tbh they arent much more expensive as you dont need lens solutions or anything.

Call your optician and explain what has happened, they'll be able to advise you which solution to use instead.

You can buy solution from opticians and pharmacists but you need to select one that suits your lenses and you.

Your optician won't mind you asking, it shows you care and are being responsible.
