Is there an alternative word or name for AUNT...?

I dont want to be called Aunt Ashley...

Just sounds weird...anyone know any good/cute alternative?

Auntie Ashley would be cute. My name is Kim, and my nieces call me Kimmy b/c that's what my sister still calls me.

Auntie Ashley is cute... my sister is Auntie Em and I laugh every time I say it... (the old aunt from wizzard of oz) but I've started calling her Auntie Emmy instead (her name is Emily)

u can be called auntie, or titi..... my name is brittany and when my nephew was younger he could never say aunt brittany so he called me ditty....and it stuck. he is now almost 5 and still calls me ditty. now he has a younger brother who is 2 and calls me the same thing... u never know... u could start them off by calling u aunt ashley, auntie, titi, etc. and u may end up with aunt ashey, annie, dee-dee, who knows... the names the babies come up with on their own are the cutest.

I don't know of any alternatives in English, but you can choose another language (tante, tia, zia, etc.) or just wait and see how the baby mispronounces your name.  Half the time you get stuck with something they say anyhow.  Who knows - you could end up being Assey!  Maybe you're better off to stick with aunt / auntie! lol

My friend has her daughter call her aunt Tia. Her sisters husband speaks a lot of spanish and it is aunt or along the lines of aunt in spanish. I just have my niece and nephews just call me by my name. I have found they usually make up their own name for you anyways. My niece could not say my name for the longest so she just called me B (which is what my name starts with) I tried teaching her to say Brittney but she could not and ended up just sticking with B.
