  1. yes there is, i recommend trying to get some instructional videos

  2. Yup, sure is.

  3. yes there is and no I cannot tell it to you. learning to punch is something you need to learn at a boxing gym. don't train on your own or you will develop bad habits which will lead to elbow, wrist, and shoulder injuries. Even if you do not wish to compete or spar you should go to a boxing gym

  4. Punching the "big bag" is like taking body shots at an imaginary opponent's midriff. No need to take huge swings. It's important to punch with your fist(s) nicely lined up. In other words hit straight. If you don't you can hurt your wrists, besides which hitting off-line means you deliver less power cleanly on the target. (Strapping your wrists is a good idea.) You also need to set your feet so you are well balanced -- so that your impact force goes into the bag rather than you wasting energy staggering backwards and so on. Lean forward a little but keep your feet well set. If you're punching well you should feel not only your arm and shoulders working but your abs, upper chest and lower back muscle groups as well.
