No there is no simple way to find a good doctor - ask around amongst friends, neighbours, relatives etc as to who they go to - ask one doctor to do a thorough medical examination for you and if you can sit down and talk to the doctor with ease and they respond in the same way - you may have been lucky and found a good one in one hit. If not then you may have to try out several until you find one who suits. Not sure about your other comment - other than perhaps you feel that your family have let you down in some way - once you find a good doctor then perhaps it would be a good idea to ask for a referral to someone who can counsel you and help you deal with it
