im interested in opening a cafe in brisbane,are there any websites that assist in such things, with help on things like good areas to open a cafe, market demand, tips and help etc?

Yes, I'm sure there is.  Check out your state and local government listings.  If you can't find anything ask at the electorate office of your local state MP.

In WA we have a State Govt department called Small Business Development. They should have something like that in Queensland if you yahoo search for it.
