Is there an easy free way to find out where my car was first sold ?

I am trying to find out where my car was originally sold, I don't want an entire history on it. I need this info to see if it falls into a recall area. MY wind shield wiper motor housing broke, and I think it may be part of the recall. Here are a few details about the car that might help if anyone wants to help me figure the recall portion out.

'98 Olds cutlass. 4 dr sedan Currently in Kentucky. passenger side windshield wiper motor housing cracked.
