I learned how to put them in and everytime it came to taking them out they just came out by fluke because I was rubbing my eye. I'm nervous to go back now because I don't like dragging my finger right over my iris, the girl said there was another way but it was too hard. Any advice? Thanks

  1. My sishas contacts. Keep on trying and make sure your eyes dont get too red. If you still cant get them out call your doctor or maybe a friend or family member

  2. i were contacts too it was easy to get them in but when it came to taking them out i was a nervous wreck lol but what i do is i open my eye with one hand my left and i take my right index finger and my thumb and put them on the contact and pinch slightly and pull out and my contact is out of my eye :]

i had the same problem as you if my way or there way doesn't work try out different ways thats to your liking :]  thats what i did :]

  3. Gentle pinch the very outside of the contact in your eye with the pads of your fingers. You have to get used to having your fingers in you eyes

  4. First, don't be afraid and don't squint.  Open your eye really wide and hold that eye open with the hand you aren't going to be taking the contact with.  When you have the eye opened, look straight ahead & pinch each side of the contact with the thumb and pointer finger & lift out.

Practice makes perfect.  Don't give up.

  5. To remove contact lenses, look upward or sideways while you pull down on your lower eyelid. With a finger, gently maneuver the lens onto the white of your eye. There, you can very gently pinch the lens together with your index finger and thumb and lift it off the eye. 6. this is what i do......

i look straight up and pull down on my lower eye lid....then with the TIP of my finger, i slide the contact down and then very carefuly "pinch" the contact and...its out!!! you can try if you havent figured out another way. but i find it to be very easy.....but its all something you have to get used to!

  7. try to focus on something straight ahead but not so your looking at urself in the mirror. slide it over to the side of ur eye(ur thumb should be resting by the side of ur eye and ur pointer finger should drag it over so that it is pinched between ur pointer finger and thumb) then just squeeze ur fingers together and pull it out. thats the easiest way for me

  8. I always dampen my thumb and pointer finger with the saline solution, hold my eye open, and then lighty bring my thumb and pointer finger together over my eye, almost like pinching the contact so you can pull it up.

I find that when my eyes are dry, it's much harder to get them out.  If you feel like your eyes are dry, put an eyedrop or two in and they will come out easier.  I've been wearing contacts for 15 years, and trust me when I say that it gets easier and you will learn little tricks for the bad days.  But try not to rub your eyes with the contacts in, you're more likely to scratch your eyes that way or rip the lens.  If you're having a hard time, leave it be for a few minutes, put in some eye drops, moisten your fingers and try again... they will come out.  Good luck.

  9. I have hard lenses and the way I do it is widen my eye by placing one index finger on the bottom eyelid and one on the top eyelid then I kind of squeeze them inwards.  When the lens comes off the eyeball then I kind of hold it between the fingers that were holding the eyelids open.

  10. Yes, the way my mom does it (I don't do this) is she closes her eyes and drags her finger over her eyelids and moves the contact lens to the side of the eye where it becomes easily removable.
