Is there an easy way to catch pokemon in pokemon pearl? Specifically, heatran?

honestly i caught heatran with a masterball i migrated over from EMERALD..SAVE in front of HEATRAN then try catching it whatever PKBALLS you have..glad 2 answer :)

use some water type pokemon like mantine (that is what i used) and use surf to take it down to red or yellow make sure water pokemon u use is not too strong or it will kill it. then throw alot of ultra balls!

thats how i got my heaty (my heatran)

Besides using a masterball these also work

1. Use a quick ball on the first move to see if you are lucky.

2. Use attacks to weaken it down to the red area.

3. Make it have a status problem(Do not use burn of poison because it is easy to catch with them but you only have one chance.

4. Use ultra balls yes they kida suck but if you use them repeated ly they can work

5. Use Timer balls after you are well in to the battle because as the battle goes on you can more easyly catch them.
