i understand records are outdated and mp3s and cd's are very simple to create. but a large number of my friends (we arent even from the vinyl generation) are still loving the fun of listening to and collecting records. other friends of mine are even just starting to appreciate records too. they're having a small renaissance. to me it just seems like more of a personal belonging to have a real record of something than a cd or mp3 and its something id love to have with one of my songs on it.

  1. Who would care if you could?  Today, publish as MP3, CD, or streaming audio.  You could make equipment to do it crudely.  But you're better off searching for someone with the equipment to do it for you.  No one would manufacture such equipment now.  If you really wanted some, search for it used on ebay or various vendors of used equipment.

There was a time when small studios could cut records.  They even did so at amusement parks.  Perhaps some of those still happen to have their old equipment.
