Is there an equation for the molecular changes in water ?

When water goes from liquid to vapour and ice, is there an equation for the changes in molecular motion involved ? Does this equation (assuming there is one) describe a regular curve on a graph ?

  1. Are you referring to the changes in energy?

    I only ask this because the molecular structure does not change no matter in what physical form the water is.  It is H-O-H regardless; two hydrogen atoms covalently bonded to a single oxygen atom.
