Is there an equivalent of IMDB for books?

I'm looking for a top of all books, but there aren't any i could find that had a massive database.

The largest review deposit now is http://www.amazon.com, which covers all books published in the last ten years or so, which includes all sorts of older books still in print.

The US Library of Congress lists every book ever to receive a copy right in the US, but only includes title, author, date, publisher information.
