Is there an expat community in San Cristobal de las Casas

Question

Are there many people from the US and Europe living here? If so, is there a forum, or some other connection between and to these folks? I currently live on the Mexican Caribbean but am considering spending my summers in cooler climes. Thanks!

A small one comapred to other areas of Mexico.  it's a great town, you'll love it.  In July, it can still be cool enough to see you breath in the morning.  Go there on a visit and ask your question at Na Bolom (see the link below).

Also ask your question at a restaurant called Pierre--it's run by a French expat.
