  1. some enjoy making another person or animal feel pain, for some reason they are fascinated by it...

also A LOT of cruelty happens unwittingly, by people who are not aware that what they are doing is contributing to cruelty..

like people buying pups from pet stores, many dont think that is cruel..

here is a great link on cruelty, (NO graphic pictures) excellent info, share it to spread info most people dont know or think about

  2. Often times serial killers will start out by killing small animals. Its sick behavior. I watch Animal Cops all the time on Animal Planet and I think the same things you're saying now. To hurt something helpless is to be a coward.

  3. Humans have always felt like they control animals and the only reason animals exist is to feed us and do what we want. So the reason most people hurt animals is because they are helpless, and it gives humans a feeling of power. In other cases, a person might have wanted a pet at one time but once they realized the responsibility that came with it, they might just leave the animal to starve and not take care of it properly. People like this are completely insane, animal cruelty is wrong and it makes me sick.
