  1. whenever a big 10 school plays an sec team, the following rules should be enacted in order to maintain balance and fairness:

    1. the sec team must replace two players with a cheerleader and a marching trumpet player. the trumpet player may wear his normal uniform so he doesn't have to change out for the halftime show, but the cheerleader must change into full football pads because we all know those southern girls are just too beautiful to not be distractions

    2. all games should be big 10 home games. if for some reason the game occurs in the south, no one may attend except for mutes and the elderly

    3. for every touchdown scored, the sec team must sincerely apologize for embarrasing the big 10 team. if the apology is deemed not sincere enough, a do-over on the last play is called for

    4. the sec team must kick all feild goals from at least the 50 yard line

    5. the big 10's qb can never be sacked. instead, the defensive linemen must ask him nicely to sit down. bribes and begging are encouraged

    6. all referee's must be alumni of the big 10 school

this may make things a close game, at least

  2. I second that motion, but how long will it take 15 slow @ss players to get back to the huddle and get lined up. We may have to change it to a 60 second clock.

  3. The SEC is the best yes, but only for now. Every conference will rise and fall at some point. Look at the SEC in basketball- not very good now. The big 10 and ACC have fallen a little in football, but they will recover

  4. You talk about boring.  Having to watch 15 of those slow galoots running around in pursuit of people they can't catch.  Let's just stick with 11.

  5. What dominance? Obviously they have an advantage on 10-team conferences because they have 12 and have more conference depth but other then that their dominant against Big Ten teams.

Seriously SEC fans get off your high horse until you beat someone other then a Big Ten team in the NC game.

  6. sec will be the best, but big 12 will be a close second.  at least this year.  i think oklahoma will finish 13-0.  then you have missouri, texas, texas tech and colorado will be improved.  kansas won't be has high this year, but they are decent.  who knows how former lsu asst.  pelini will do at nebraska.  they'll probably be better than last year.  for now, sec still rules.

  7. haha i dont think so sec is amazing

  8. Ohio State is the cheap prom date for SEC schools playing in big bowl games.  The solution is to recruit southern players and hire southern coaches.  Those big cornbread-fed jokers can block each other all they want, but they can't block someone that they can't catch.

  9. People on the south play better football. GO OLE MISS!!!!!!!!

  10. SEC success has been in the NC game but when their SEC champion does not play in the NC game their BCS success plummits, case and point in 2005, Georgia gets beat by a Big East team West Virginia.

No one can deny thier recent success, but to go around and say that

no one can compete with the SEC is a individual that is very narrow minded. There's a bunch of teams out thier with the speed and talent to compete with the SEC schools. Little ole Troy gave Georgia h**l last year, and didnt Michigan beat Florida last year as well.

Thier rateing as the best confrence is true but as the sole number 1 conference I do not agree with, in fact I believe that the Big 12 has caught up with the SEC and possibly could surpass the SEC after this year. Too many programs in the Big 12 have premier QB that are returning this year and most be back again the next few years.

The only qb that stands out from the SEC is Georgia's Stafford and Florida's Tebow , after that a bunch of qb's that are wait and see. Oh,

Bama's qb is on the fence line in this catagory.

So the Big 12 with 10 count them 10 quality qb's makes for 10 quality teams in the Big 12, so SEC dominence is about to faulter, it might get derailed this year.

Some experts belive that the Big 12 could possibly produce three teams in the BCS bowls this year, highly unlikley, but its the only conference mentioned that has the best possibilities to do so, it

sounds like to me that the Big 12 move to being the dominate conference has already started, A NC win for the Big 12 will solitify

their being the new number 1 conference, this coming from a big east fan. Give credit where credit is due and stop being so narrow minded about the SEC, its a tough conference, but its not invinceable, or a quarntee for NC appearence for its conference champion.
