Is there an income in selling art online even temporarily?

like many artists, i'm interested in selling my art online. for the time being cause i have another job i cant dedicate all my time to making art. i was wondering if anybody knows if theres really an income in selling art online? monthly expectation for $40-$50 prints? furthermore does anyone know how long it can last? (dont worry im not trying to rely on this as my main source of income but i def need more money)

the possibility is always there.  Just like in ebay, anything sells.  There are a lot of shoppers out there.  Why not try to see for yourself.
