Is there an inexpensive household product that can be used as an algaecide for a swimming pool?

  1. I've used baking soda in the past...not sure if it's any cheaper tho...algaecide is fairly inexpensive


  2. bleach is 50% chlonie that means they took a bottle of 100% chlorine and diluted it ;)

    The cheapest alternative is Granulated Chlorine :)

  3. bleach and oxy clean and amonia will work...just make sure none of the products contain soap
