Is there an mp3 player that you can get radio on as well in the uk?

Mainly wanting a personal radio, but one that i can put my songs onto aswell and has a good rechargeble battery.

Any help welcome.

  1. Yeah, there are many options.  Check out the Sandisk Sansa Clip, e200 series, or Fuze, the Creative Zen, or the Sony NWZ S710 series.


  2. I presume they do sell non-iPod players over there like they do here, right?

    Almost all of them will have FM tuners if you take a look at them -- they're easy to add to give your company's players an edge over the equivalent iPod, so most will have one.  If you can get into some sort of electronics store and maybe even play around with one before you decide that's what you want, that would be ideal. . . some have much better interfaces than others.

    I've got a Sansa Clip (Sandisk) that at least seems to do fairly well with my local stations and the battery life at least isn't horrible.  The thing's very tiny, though, so make sure you don't lay it down on the middle of a pile of anything should you want to find it back before you clean the house again.  :)
