Is there an official story connecting Leviathan, Behemoth and Ziz?

I'm curious as I've heard these biblical monsters were the likely inspirations for the pokemon Kyogre, Groudon and Rayquaza who are obviously connected.

All i know is that the behemoth is a mythical creature that resembles  a very large bull and has large horns on his head. But i don't know about the others.
