  1. Turkey Red Oil is a sulfonated Castor oil that will disperse in water and is used for bath oil. Most companies that sell carrier oils for aromatherapy & massage will have it. You can read how it's made on Wikipedia page, under Background: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Castor_oil

  2. No, not really. There are some shampoos that add a smaller quantity of certain oils that help with moisture in your skin, but if you used that pure oil, it would take a LONG time to wash it all out of your hair. A few common examples are Tea Tree Oil, Vitamin E, and Vitamin A (all of which can help with the scalp and are types of oils).

The only possible exception to that would be if some company used an emulsifier with the oil to help it absorb better.... but I can't think of any shampoo I've ever heard that's done that.

  3. Nursing Homes in Australia use a product called QV oil, which is dispersable in water and used as a soap alternative for elderly people with soap allergies or extra dry skin.

If you add milk to some vegetable oils it makes them more water dispersable, as milk absorbs the fat from the oil as it mixes with the fats in the milk, and as milk is disolvable in water, it passes on the property to the oil... but think it only works in small amounts of vegetable oil to a fair amount of milk
