I noticed some countries had only one entry in the olympics, so I was wondering if there is any sport that we (the United States) are not competing in?

  1. There is only one sport that the USA is not competing in.

They did not qualify for team handball in the mens or womens events.

Edit:-  I Hate Lazy People . . . . The USA does have a team in the Field Hockey, but you are right when you say that there is no mens team.

In fact the USA womens team plays the GB team tomorrow.

  2. I think Judo...Because they haven't shown it here.

  3. I don't think we have a men's Field Hockey team either.

Just because they don't show a sport on TV doesn't mean that we don't have an entrant.  The US qualified 10 Judoka (out of a possible 14) for the Beijing games, and Ronda Rousey became the first ever American female Judoka to win an Olympic Medal earlier in the games.
