Is there an online DVD rental service in France where you can rent English language films?

no not especially in english but alll the dvds are multilanguage so U just got to chose english in the language menu. to rent dvd i advice U to go to VIDEO WORLD or on the internet

i dont know but you'll surely find it in paris. there are british or englishspeaker shops there

All US and UK made films are multilingual on the DVDs, you have the choice between French, English and a few other languages. So you don't need to look for something exclusively English speaking, you already have English on them, all you need to do is choose the right language in the menu.

Any English language film will have French subtitles so no need to worry.
